with all the baby fish i have been rescuing and seperating, i went to the local pet store and purchased some liquifry no1 fry food, which i have been feeding to them for the last week (along with crushed up growth sticks also), earlier i decided to add a couple of drops of the fry food into the pond just for all the other babies that are still in there, one of the large shubunkins went and ate a full drop of the fry food in one mouthfull, and then as i was putting the cap back on the bottle i noticed that the liquifry that the store had sold me is 12 months out of its expirery date !! could this be harmfull to the fish ?? ! i will be having a word with her next time ime in town !!

I don't think so, but others may have different thoughts on it.

yeah true, what is it made of.........a lot of stuff just loses its effectiveness after a certain date, like pills etc. rather than spoil.

Well darn can't find any information on searches, they most likely will be ok, but I would not feed them any more. Since it is food particles.

a year out of date, i don't think i would chance using it unless there is nothing else to give, i would take it back and have them order fresh.

I would take the container with you and politely ask for a new fresh dated one.
