Our Koi Pond

I'm looking forward to learning more about plants for our pond here on this forum. We just removed the big tree that gave our pond shade due to the fact it was actually have dead; so now we will have full sun all day.

We have only had water lillies, water hyacinth, water lettuce and parrots feather as plants and want to add more variety to our plants.

What's the yellowish ground cover plant around the edge? I love that look.

I know my creeping jenny in shade is green and in full sun it is yellow so it may be creeping jenny

We were given a small piece from someone else that has a pond and it has spread that much.

Wow, that is a lovely looking pond--very serene. I'm interested to see that you have a sloped edge, like mine. Do you not have racoons? They go right into my pond and tear up the plants. I'd love to have fish but would lose them to the racoons and herons. Thanks for posting these photos. Very inspiring.
