Oops...fertilizer tab

I hope I'm not the only one this has happened to, so hopefully there's some advice and/or suggestions you all have for me.

I was fertilizing my lily with fertilizer tabs. I had one in my hand and put it in the water to put it into the lily pot, but beforeI could make it to the pot, it disintegrated into the pond water. Is there anything I should do? Any idea on what is going to happen with my water?

You will be fine, I have that happen off and on. I keep one hand totally dry to pick up the tab, with that dry hand know exactly where I am sticking it. In the water in the pot quickly. I wear clothes i don't worry about and wipe my fingers constantly.
