One of my koi thinks he's Flipper! (A dolphin)

I never saw this before. I've seen them jump a bit and make a nice splash, but this cracked me up! I was feeding them and this gray guy who is about 20" long stood out of the water going forward like a dolphin! He came toward me with his white belly exposed. Funny stuff! I don't know, maybe he was chasing a bug. It's been rainy and foggy with a lot of mosquitoes, so maybe that's what he was after. He's not flashing at all and there's plenty of aeration, water flow, etc. So, it's not a health issue.

A couple of my fish do this too. I love throwing the food away from them to watch them swim very fast to beat the others to it. That is when I can see a couple of the fish surface.
