one huge fish, one huge predator

he wanted it all to him/herself, moved away from other gators. When you give a worm to a turt, it will scoot off away from other fish turts

I used to live in Tampa for many years... I don't miss gators.

that fish must have jumped out of water , gator trying to help the fish , placing it back in the pond , very caring

fish are very vulnerable at dawn when low dissolved oxygen levels drive them into where the gator and umpteen other predators wait, shallow water
