OK help with new tv for security cameras

It is a philips LED tv and cannot get that bottom thing to go off .It goes off and then comes back on and then goes off .I cannot figure out how to get it off permanently

Go into the setup make sure you have display mode turned off. That looks like what would show up when it is a store display.

I went to set up but this is all I found .The part that says on it will not got too

What model? I see it is a phillips, it might be under other settings. I will do some research for you. I know I had to turn it off on one of our tv's.

This is a generic how to get rid of it

To change to HOME mode follow the steps below.

1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control to access the main menu.
2. Move the cursor down to select INSTALLATION and move the cursor right.
3. Move the cursor down to select PREFERENCES and move the cursor right.
4. Select LOCATION and move the cursor right.
5. Move the cursor up/down to select HOME and press the 'OK' button for confirmation.
6. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.

Situation:
When the "Smart TV" button on the remote control is pressed for the first time a DEMO screen of the Smart TV Portal is shown.

Solution:
To see the live Smart TV Portal, proceed as follows:
• Connect the television to internet
• Switch the television into Standby mode
• Switch the television on again
• Wait for five minutes for the TV to fully boot up and establish a connection to the SmartTV portal
• If the TV continues to be in demo mode, reestablish the internet connection again on the TV
• Press the "Smart TV" button on the remote control

there is no menu on the remote .Just format .

I called phillips and they could not help me and book gives you nothing

well went into it farther and found something that said E sticker and turned it off and sure enough it went off .Good gosh the phillips expert could not figure this out ,GEEZE

I figured E sticker well stickers are what my sons used to put on my lunch bag .Turned it off and sure enough off

one possible fix is to shut the TV off unplug it for a half hour and start the whole setup procedure again . unplug everything even cable TV wire remove any chance of residule power.

It is only used as security camera monitor .Seems kind of weird that it was a E -sticker
