I`m thinking about adding a Aerogarden to my pond. what nutrients can I use that is safe for my fish?
With enough fish, you shouldn’t need to add any nutrients. Have you checked out any hydroponics sites? Lots of good info.yes like hydroponics. plants like tomatoes and beans
Huh what's v2? Got nothing in my mail about it.
I guess GPF should now be known for PROMOTING overstocking your pond!!! Glad to see you join the club, FishGuy! We gotta find MORE reasons to give this advice, no?Welcome! As others have said, with hydroponics, the fish provide the nutrients. if you don't have enough nutrients from the fish, simply add more! ( within a reasonable amount, keep it humane )
for hydroponics I would advise investing in some testing kits so that you can be aware of how much excess nutrients you have, and adjust fish and plant loads accordingly. ( api master drop kit is what we recommend, and if you want to really get into it the Hanna Checkers are top of the line )
I mean we used to say 1 goldfish ( only shubunkin are acceptable ) per like 500 gallons, and now people are complaining about not enough nutrients!I guess GPF should now be known for PROMOTING overstocking your pond!!! Glad to see you join the club, FishGuy! We gotta find MORE reasons to give this advice, no?
