Hello all,
I have been a long time fan and user of this forum but this is the first time I actually am a "member". 9 years ago I used this forum and picked the brains of many veteran ponders while planning, building and getting my pond started. I am at a point in my life now where I can take some time, do things like "join" a forum and with my 9 years experience possibly assist other folks with some advice.
At this point I usually find some enjoyable tinkering to do with the waterfalls, move some of the plants from one side to the other or rearrange some rocks, do some maintenance. My swan song is that my pond is 100% natural. I do not drain and clean or make actual water changes, nature does that for me when it rains or gets very dry.....(I do use a UV light) but no chems, additives, algae killers etc. My koi are happy and survived many NJ winters, or lack thereof
I attached a picture of my pride and joy, I planned, designed and built the koi pond myself, along with some help from the various folks on this forum and the questions and answers from various posts!
Thank you to the forum who helped me over the years, now it's my turn to help others......
Anthony
