ok - I have kidney shaped pond. I have 2 pond shelves in both corners. But, I need suggesions on what I can use safely in the pond. To lift up the plants. My pond is 3 feet deep so a little too deep to put the lilys and lotus on the bottom.

I have heard that I can use center blocks but that makes me nervous. I don't want the fish to get injured on them.

Any other suggesions?

lillies will do fine at 3' .. start them on the shelves when they hit waters surface drop them down. dont know anything about lotus. but you can tie a couple milk crates or something in that catagorie together into a large "cube"( open end to open end) with a heavy stone in the bottom for weight and set a pot ontop
