First of all, I think I have a tadpole and don't even have a pond yet . I have a couple of lilies I started so I'd have something to put in the pond once it was ready. They're in about 10" of water. Have been noticing movement in the water recently, but never able to see a critter. Well, today I think I saw something and it looked like a tadpole. Hopefully we'll get the pond filled and the chlorine neutralized before he turns into a frog -- he'll be my 1st pond critter!
Second, hubby & I went rock shopping today. We only bought a few hundred pounds, each rock individually chosen. I love rocks -- it was fun! Next time, though, we'll just get a pallet and be through with it.... Anyway, hubby was attracted to this really HUGE rock. Huge as in almost 3000 lbs!! It has the perfect shape for seating. We measured it, then came home to "think it over," and talk about how we could incorporate it into our pond decor. Well, we bought it! It's huge but so cool! We're gonna have the perfect place to sit and enjoy our pond! Of course, in the event we ever move, the SITTING ROCK (hubby named it ) will move with us!
