Just purchased 4 new Koi for my pond! I plan on putting them in quarantine for 4 weeks. I got a baby pool that is 2 feet deep and 8 feet in diameter set up with a filter and pump. Also got a nice mesh cover for the top so the new "kids" won't jump out.

They are pretty big- range from 9-11 inches.

I'm going to rehome the Sarassas and Comets to my friend Sheree's pond where she has a huge school of fun goldfish, so they will be super happy.

That brings the total number of koi to 7 for my pond (1500 gal). I got a new Laguna pressurized filter with UV that I'm going to install in the next couple of weeks to help out filtration. Right now I have a 50 gallon skippy-type bio filter with a UV set up. I think this should be sufficient filtration to keep the fish happy.

Here's some screen shots of the fish. I'll get photos of them when they arrive.

I really want a Tancho. I have a Sarassa Gold Fish that could pass as a small Tancho to a casual viewer.
