Netting

Any thing I need to know about buying netting to cover my pond. Approx 15 by 20

What are you trying to protect t from? I put some deer fencing hung loose over the pond, down the center to discourage the heron from flying in and landing in the water. It could potentially land in the walk out area, ow it is too deep.

Sometimes the little birds can get stuck in that bird netting stuff. You can use deer fencing also which is more rugged. You can make a pvc frame for it in one or two or 3 pieces also so you can just lift and store it flat somewhere.

I made frames with pvc pipe and zip tied the netting to the frame. This way, I can easily remove the frame and netting from the pond if I need to.

I used tree netting...it comes in different sizes with about 3/4 inch squares.
