I sit by the pond with my torch and watch the two newts stalking the tadpoles. The resident frog pops up each time to greet me too. Anyway tonight whilst watching the newts I heard a noise and shone the torch nearby the pond and found the source, an hedgehog. Nothing unusual there as I've seen the hedgehog in the garden before. However a bit later in the evening I have one final check in on the pond and as I shine the torch to see if the hedgehog is still there, to my surprise I discover there are now two hedgehogs!
