My "ugly" water tested well!

7 days ago, I did a 100% water change, and sprayed down the boulders and rocks. I didn't make any effort to get the backside of the rocks or clean the filter media, other than rinsing with pond water. We've had 2-3" of rain since. The water is back to being tea colored, but the Ph was 7.25, and ammonia, nitrites, and phosphate all came in at zero.

I'm going to get some plants this weekend. Marginals, i have floaters and one lily. Any suggestions?

plants always clear up a pond and grasses like lemon grass really do a great job at it and smell good also
