Welcome to our group!

How big, what kind of fish, what kind of weather do you have, what kind of filtration are you thinking of?

make sure the pond is big enough for koi. I learned the hard way. they grow fast and something they fit in now, they may not fit in two years.

I used 1 inch PVC piping to make a outlet for my waterfall... The outlet then spilled onto a large sheet of sandstone that is the waterfall... I wanted to have as little "man made" material visible as possible to make it look more natural.

I used 2 2inch pvc pipes, that spill the water back into the big pond. Stack rocks around the pipe, looks like the water is coming out under the rocks

The other waterfall is one 2 inch pvc, like slakker has, spilling onto a flat rock, once again rocks stacked around so you can't see the pvc.

The fishing line was a quick anti heron fix, now replaced.

You want at least 1000 gallons for Koi. And that's just one. Many people say each additional Koi should have another 250 gallons each. If you use your liner to the max length, width, and depth your pond will have around 950 gallons. So realistically you won't have enough room for a full grown Koi to thrive.
