hi everyone, I just finished burying my 600 gallon stock tank. It took all day but it is done, I am not sure if I can just post pics here, If I can let me know. the filter and waterfall are in the mail, so hopefully if they come this week I can fill and add plants. I debated on putting in a liner, but with a 20 year guarantee and my age 48, I decided that when I am 68, I wouldn feel like redoing it. It is small compare to many but compared to my 110 it is huge.

never say never.I didn't expect to dig another pond much less a 1200 gallon one,so keep that door open.....btw looks great.
You can purchase a small [donut] heater that will allow you to keep your fish outdoors.......My fish have never been indoors, prolly scare the scales off 'em.lol

Thanks but not sure if it would work, our frost line here is about 2 feet, same depth as the pond. I would rather bring them in than having them freeze in a solid chunck of ice, I think the pond defrosters only keep a hole as large as the defroster, not an ideal living situation.

I built a pond for a lady using the samething you have.I added a pump on the side, to move the water during the winter months. So far her goldfish are doing great ,here in the windy city.
I built the pond in a patio setting, against the house ,to help with such cold climates.
It has never frozen solid, and alittle ice on the top of the water is fine, just as long as water is moving below..............................btw I wouldn't post such a product, unless I knew it didn't work .

good luck
