Hi all , weather still shocking . Here are a few photos , it’s 3 ft deep in the far end and 2ft deep at the near end with shelves almost all the way around, 7ft long and 4ft wide at the far end. I intend to add some more plant but they are bloody expensive, any suggestions? Regarding fish I’m taking it easy , 2 4inch comets , the rest are gold fish 1 inch tidlers and a few 4 inch

I had the water checked and to my surprise it was fine , i added a dye to the water , I know some of you frown on this but I like it. At night I switch the pond lights on and it’s a wonderful sight I have to say. I’m heading away for a few days and will miss my little pond , my son will call and look after it but I’m still a little anxious about this

I would tell him to not feed. The biggest thing I hear of others watching a pond the fish get way overfed. Or put out just a bit of food in baggies and say only this amount each day.

My fish go all summer without food. But I have a large pond with a ton of plants and critters for them to snack on.
