I like the idea of there beig frogs in there is this doable ,being a raised up pond i no this is away from nature but my front lawn and flower beds get full of them and i like the little fella's ? i have so many questions so im sure ill bore the forum before long

Well the good news is, I got it into the right place. The bad news is it is also at the bottom and I cannot figure out how to remove the image.
This was a first for me, I deleted the other post after moving the photo into the requested post.

are you drawing the water thru the one in/outlet (white) just under the waterfall with an external pump? if so is it plumbed to draw from the bottom also? drawing from the bottom of pond should be of your first concern to remove solid wastes. just drawing from the top especially that close to the returning water will minimize your filtrations effectiveness.
oh... but nice looking setup...good luck with it.

the pump is in the opposite corner to the waterfall raised up 6 inch from the bottom so still 3 feet underwater is this ok? i asked these questions when buying a pump/filter etc and bought a pump that could deal with solids upto 8mm is this enough? No i couldnt find a reducer to suit the hole to the hose so i pluged it and feed the hose through a void underneath the waterfall out of sight.

sounds like its under control.... a nice flat bottom on the pond, and not large so you may want to consider building a simple vaccuum, like i did for my basement pond which is 6' x 6' or about 2 meters by 2 meters and i vaccuum it every couple days, takes less than 5 minutes. yours, probably 2 or 3 minutes. if your interested heres the build instructions.

real simple, basic, and you could easily just run a hose outside the pond to vaccuum and just do small water changes at the same time.

Every so often, I get tree frogs. They serenade us at night and can get very loud. I have never seen one, they hide very well.

We've had frogs just appear and stay. Sometimes we see them sunbathing on a rock and sometimes we won't see them for a while. They seem to like the environment. That's good...I guess.
Great hobby these ponds!

Frogs are amazing. I have not figured out how they survive winters in places like ND, USA. If they dig into the mud, how do they breath, they do have lungs.
