While muscadine isn't exactly a water plant, I thought I'd share this with you since you all seem to like plants and animals in general. First off, my grape harvest has been a bust for past 3 years but the muscadines are right now in season. They resemble and taste like grapes but are a green color similar to the border of the forum page you are now viewing.
This bush has produced dozens and dozens of delicious muscadine, which seem suited to N. Virginia. The hound has been in the bush eating them for weeks. I know dogs shouldn't eat grapes but she's a fruit hound, eating muscadine, apples, pears, peaches, plumbs, strawberries and everything she can find. Has been for years with no ill effects.
I'm still laying concrete for my aqueduct extension and Friday weather channel said no rain, mixed 5 bags, layed concrete and guess what? Picture evidence
