We had very heavy rain at the weekend. A soil bank behind the pond, which is higher than the pond meant a fair amount of soil was washed in and it's now a bit murky.
I've since lowered the bank and now got it slopping away slightly, as well as digging a bit of a trench so whilst I know this will still happen from time to time, it should be fairly minimised from now on.
However, I wonder if this is an issue or not? I presume that the soil will settle and my pond will naturally clear on its own.
I have no pump or filter, just plants.
No fish either, so that's not an issue.
Cheers.
