Making a pond with a wine vat

Hi!
I'm new in this forum and I would like to collect some feedback about a project that I want to carry on. I was offered a plastic wine vat of 500l (132 g) and I would like to make it a pond. However, I would like to hear from you some tips and see some examples related to my project. My idea is using rocks to hide the plastic, but I don't know the best way to mount them.

Welcome to the forum! That certainly sounds like an interesting project, are you planning on sinking the vat into the ground or having it as an above ground pond?

I would stack rocks around the pot. Also once it is a pond, keep only small fish in it, so you don't over load it.

What kind of filtering are you going to do?

I'm planning on doing only biological filtration using plants.

bigger flat ones on the bottom, working up slowly to smaller ones.

You could also use some glue, expanding foam etc to help anchor the rocks.
