I have been following the threads on Lotus. We just got three lotus tubers last week from the local nursery. I followed the directions using the osmocote and manuer and pea gravel. They look a little peak-ed. How long do they take to start looking healthy. Currently they look yellow on edges, some leaves are dying and on in sprouting( maybe) One leave seems to be looking up to the sun. The others just kindof lie there partially in the water( pond water with good levels) Any ideas to green them up a bit. They get full sun. There are three plants in a 33" round container that is 8 inches deep:confused:

My experience has been that lotus are very fragile once they are leafing out They become difficult to transplant.
Don't give up hope though, maybe they just need more time.
How deep are they in your pond?
Mine have only a couple of inches of water over them. I also heard they do not like moving water either so if they are close to your waterfall, you might consider moving them away from the flow
