I answered about the pumps in your other thread but on the filters I just got new ones that are simply so easy to use and clean. Another member here suggested them to me. It's a prefilter really and all I need for my 2400 gal pond.

The cost is down to the sze pond you want plus the materials yu want to build it with , then you have to buy your equipment and last but not least your fish

pump laguna cheap on ebay through webbs online and cheap to run 2900 gph only uses 103 watts and liner check local roofing companies that may have it cheap

In all honesty, a pump and filter box with media for all but the very largest of ponds can be bought for around £200!! As I have always gone by, buy cheap, buy twice - & if your filtration fails, you may have to restock the whole pond if not discovered in time.
