Looking for Koi

I'm in Arizona looking to add some Koi... Anyone in Az know where to find good fish??

What typr and size koi are you looking for? How far are you willing to drive?

I would like to find a Sanke or Showa. If possible a heavily inked Sanke or any Showa. Size range would be 10 to 14 inch.

Oh and some Hycinth too. Cuttings would be nice if not too expensive..

A nice Sanke or Showa that size, with defined lines, will set you back a few hundred or more.

On your other post, I gave up on hyacinth, too messy. Water lettuce is almost zero mantenance and does the same job.

I wonder if water lettuce would do very well here in our cool climate? It's only 50 some degrees right now. Not talking about over the winter, just during summer..............we don't have very hot summers usually :yikesu:

They may not grow large (Mine get up to 14") but I think they will be ok for the summer.

Well then if I can find some for a good price I may just grab some and hope we get some sort of warm weather at least :yikesu:
