little water fleas??

Hi guys! I hope someone can help me, I started noticing these weird litte bugs on the surface of my pond. They look like tiny black fleas and they jump around the top of the water too.

Heres a pic if it helps:

Its on the plant the little dark specks. Im not sure what to do, are they harmful? How did they get there??

Well, they are not water fleas. Likely some form of midge. Should not cause any problems.

If you have fish, maybe they'll eat them for you. Fish like that kind of thing.

Hmm okay thank a lot guys! Yeah I do have fishes and a turtle. I checked this morning and it looks like the little buggers multiplied!
