Leaving fish for long periods without food

I'm going on holiday and have two fish in my pond will they be ok left for two weeks without feeding or do I need someone to come and feed them.

How big is pond and how big are fishes , which type? Do u hv full sun, algae and water plants?

The pond is a 500 litre, with two fish both about seven inches gold fish with partial shade.

Do they hv sun exposure ie green algae on walls or water plants , ithink they will b ok.

Well fish are cold-blood so they don't burn energy to just stay warm. Fish are more likely to die from being over feed than by starving. My goldfish have gone a month without being fed.

They will be fine, mine have gone weeks without food. They nibble on the plants in the pond.

The longest my goldfish have ever gone without feeding is.... oh, about four years! I think yours will survive.

Same here, didn't feed mine for the first several years I had them. They ate what fell into the pond or what grew in it. Made out just fine.
