Koi Spawning

For the past Couple of days it has been in the 70's in South Carolina, Will this warm weather cause Koi to not spawn in the spring?

Most times it goes by water temps not by air temps .I always worry because I built my pond not to far from septic tank and did not think about the heat coming from it .Get a cheap temp thing to see what your water temps are .
