It's 85 degrees and if I were any further south, I'd be standing in the ocean.

Funny but people say VA is a southern state but it is really lower northern state by old records .You look at maps and you can see the line drawn .Here we use heat we are not very far south and I want heat but not the kind of storms they get south of me .

This is NO paradise.
That is unless you'd like to buy my house. Then this is the best place in the world to live!
The storms suck and I'm getting a little sick of it.

Oklahoma counts as a southern state, and we’ve had a few winters that were warmer. This one looks to be a chilly winter though!

The mountains save me from most storms here .I like the little bit of snow here as long as it goes away in a day or 2 .But looked at houses in NC and taxes were way higher than here and plus they get way more storms there and down .Thanksgiving day it was 62 and the last couple of Christmas we had here have been any wheres from 50 to 70 degrees and fine with me .Taxes here on 3+ acres just around a thousand dollars and house was done in 2004 .I think I will stay put right here ..
