japanese maple growth

i have a 3 year old japanese maple, its about 4 feet high. i didnt realize when i brought it that it was a slow grower.

anyone have advice on how to speed growth if at all possible?

Just give it time some grow slow some grow fast
If you do fertilizer it, use the tree spikes made of fertilizer dont over do it

There are over 1000 cultivations of Acer Palmatum (Japanese Maple). Some grow faster than others, but your choices are either spend a lot of money to buy a larger version, or develop a lot of patience. Sorry.

ok cool i just didnt know if there was anything more i could do aside from plant fertilizer stakes.

yah very slow but worth the wait when they are about 15 feet tall just awesome! Can you post a pic of it?
