Is Osmocote a safe fertilizer to use in my Koi pond?

Is the phosphate level in osmocote fertilizer a concern in a pond with fish

I have used it for a few years after seeing it recommended here, lilies have done very well over the whole season without additional ferts. No issues with the goldfish that I am aware of.

I have used it for over 10 years, no issues, goldfish.

I've used it too just fine. Put some in a piece of paper towel and wad it up and stick it down in the media near the roots.

I put some in my Lilies this year and I'm fighting String algae pretty hard, but that may be unrelated - my pond's only a little more than a month old so it's still balancing itself.

I have been adding it for my Lotus and my lilies for over 3 years. Seems to work fine.
