I just started my pond this spring and I included a 15' stream and waterfall. The pond is elliptical in shape, with a surface area of appx. 50 square feet and an average depth of only one and a half feet, a small pond but its good enough for a start. I have a skimmer box and waterfall box made for 1500gpm, but ended up with a 4200 gpm pump to get the waterflow I wanted. So I guess the first thing I would ask is the flowrate to much for the biofilter????
