Well this will be the first time I have started a pond up from scratch and here in Florida I have city water...If I am not planning on putting fish in right away but would like to put some plants in, do I need to dechlorinate the water or can I wait for a couple of days and let it happen naturally? Also, the man who is building the pond for me (starting tomorrow...YAY!) is installing an auto fill system. He says that the small amount that enters the pond when needed does not require a dechlorinator..Is this true?
