I found this fish last year while cleaning the pond. I knew it looked weird, but didn't think much of it. Today while pulling up plants, I seen him again. He hasn't grown much, but it doesn't look like any of my fish. His tail is flat with a fin in the middle of it. Picture is not the greatest, but you can see his tail next to the black cord. Does anyone know what type of fish this is?

lol ... it is a strange fish. Never seen a flat tail with a fin on it. Not sure how it made it's way to my pond either. The pond itself is pretty closed in. At least he made it through the winter ... lol

If you have polarized sun glasses, shoot through one of the lens, it gets rid of a lot of the reflection to see the fish better.

That is strange to have a flat tail

I wish I would of kept it. Gave it to someone who had an aquarium and it died. I did a major downsize of fish last Spring. It looked like the same fish someone else posted on here. I have Koi, Shubunkins and Comets. If I ever get another baby like that, I will keep it.
