Hi I checked out my pond and it's all normal with the test liquid kit. My pond is 125gal plus 50gal and I have a Lilly, parrot feathers, hogwort, and iris in my pond. Also three turtles and about 5 2" comets. I checked my fish and two have ick :( Ive read to treat the pond but I know salt is bad for turtles what can I do?

treat them in a separate location. Since they are so small you could use a tote as a quarantine tank. Use pond water to fill it, add salt and fishies. I think the salt is bad for your plants as well. Not sure on dosage as I have not treated with salt before.

Good luck!

Ick is normally caused by stress. Are the turtles chasing or trying to eat the fish? How long has your pond been established? If the pond is still new (less than a month) then this isn't too unusual.

It's about 2 months already I took the plants and turtles out. I'm thinking that might be the problem my turtles might be trying to eat them. Thanks for the advice
