Wow! Nice place & super nice guy! Gave us (17 y/o son along, but not too interested...) the grand tour. Beautiful fish (mostly koi) -- they were all named and most had a personal story!

The visit was too short, but very informative, and was my 1st real chance to see a bog in operation. Plants were gorgeous. Thanks a bunch, Larkin! [made it to Mike's OK, and found some fish there, as well -- will certainly be keeping a close watch on my water quality once these guys are out of QT... Oh, and he fixed your fish up with a shot of O2 for the road].

After walking in the pond and sweating through the 100% humidity I looked like..... But oh well they say if there aren't any pics it didn't happen, Guess we have to prove you made it down.
I wanted to say the same thing, trip was way to short. But I did enjoy the visit. Was so nice meeting you and getting the chance to walk around and show you the property and what I have going on so far.

You know, this was an almost surreal experience for me -- YOU PEOPLE ON THE GPF REALLY DO EXIST!! WOW! COOL!

Pics of the fish once I get them and myself comfortable with the QT experience. Larkin had 3 BEAUTIFUL Wakin saved for me, and I got a gorgeous Shubie from him that's so big, I thought it was a koi at first. He'd also introduced me to a breeder, also in south LA, who I was able to make an appt. with (koi and various types of goldfish). He had a tank FULL of the biggest variety of Shubies ever, so was able to get some as well as a couple of nice fantails.

Oh, and I got some plant "starts," as well. I'm in HEAVEN!

Ya know, that never occurred to me! And now that I think about it, the conversation topics and responses used by "Larkin" could very well have been a result of pre-scanning the GPF for pertinent information. Hmmmm....... Have I been "HAD" by a GPF moderator? OK, gotta come up with a test for that
