This vintage wood boat, showed up on the Reading PA Craigslist... It's 22 inches long tho, and would more then likely look like the titanic in my pond. So this has started me on a mission to purchase a boat for floating on my pond... anyone know of any places to look?

Original CL ad if anyone is interested.... http://reading.craigslist.org/clt/4458579744.html

That's a great idea! How about Etsy? There's loads of handmade stuff on there, I bet they'd have wooden boats. You might need to waterproof it yourself though!

Do you guys tether this stuff down? Otherwise, I imagine it just getting pushed against the side of the pond or stuck in the skimmer.

I don't have a skimmer and since i have the hose that pushes water all over the top of the pond .If you tether them fish could get tangled in it

I love miniatures! We were at a nursery recently and they had little "mini gardens" that had been built as part of a clinic they'd held. They were the cutest things! Gave me all kinds of ideas for when the pond is FINALLY completed....
