We are looking into getting another small pond 4ft by 3ft and 16in deep, how many common goldfish can happily live their full life in the pond? (We are in the process of making a 10 gallon biofilter for the pond) Any help would be great!

At around 130 Gallons I would say 3 or 4 tops as they live upwards of 30 years and get over 1 foot in length.
I agree. I try to give my pond fish 50 gallons each but smashing 4 into there seems like a good maximum.
