I found along side a country road in the mountains a leaching hill side that was covered in otwo of my favorite aquatic plants liver wart and a type of moss that will grow in full sun so long as it is given enough water it grows very fast and will even secure its self to a vertical rock wall at the waters edge. It is a key part to naturalizing my pond along with the wood and stumps. Attached is the area and it is one hell of an inspiration for a pondless with minimal energy

In one of the last videos it starts with a 4 foot wall that is the matrix bog that would be a simple cost effective water trickle pondless . It mayyyyy be. But the point of the video @Lisak1 was this moss and liverwart . I don't know for sure it I s moss but the stuff is incredible grows fast. It loves to grow on wet non woven fabric.

Very cool looking, agree about moss. I am always grabbing some out of nature and trying to mimic those spots I found it in places for it to grow in my pond. The part of my pond that is going on 11-12 years old, the moss has just shown up on the stumps and logs in it, always liked that look.

@Jhn or anyone who may have intrest . I can't ship unlimited but cultures grow fast.. Would you like some of this stuff/moss. I To am always with my head on a swivel looking for everything and anything. This stuff I have only found in two locations . And as you know I'm in the woods a lot. But as rare as it seems to be in nature it is thriving around the pond.

I forget what zone are you in? I feel like the New Mexico sun would roast it. Willing to give it a shot though.
