my name is Richard. I live in the very far south tippy-toe part of Cornwall.
Last year I did a total make-over of my partners garden including a waterfall dropping into a
10ft x 8ft x 5ft deep pond a little rill falling into a 8ft x 8ft x 2ft 6 pond that was going to be a bog garden but now seems to be a stickleback breeding ground!

A feature that I'm just starting to create is placing a 3ft Buddha that will appear to float on the surface. Around it and just under the surface will be a stained glass panel that my partner is making. underwater lights will shine up through the panel onto the Buddha.

Question: will the lead in the stained glass affect my fish?

Cheers!

Hi Sissy,
One of our ponders is 'planning' to put a Buddha in his pond!
But it does have a Monet-esque bridge!

Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like an interesting project :) Unfortunately I think lead can be poisonous to fish, is there a way that you can avoid using it?
