Hey all..just wanted to say hi ..im new here .. just got my pond liner yesterday .. a 20x25 foot liner for $150 .. (got it from the Nickel Paper) .. i am so excited and cant wait to get digging .. I love fish .. we have alot of indoor tropical fish .. but thought it was time to move onto the big boys .. :)

I will b e taking alot of pics and some video of the pond as it gets done from start to finish.. I also have a really cool fountain about 4 feet tall and weighs over 100 pounds ... it is 2 kois wrapped around each other with a boy holding a Koi with the water coming out of the Kois mouth .. cant wait to get that in .. :)

I live in a small town in NE Oregon.. and love photography and wildlife .. humming birds and butterflies are my favs ... we get alot of Deer and other wildlife in town.. and love having them around ..

So excited about the pond and cant wait till it is done ... :)

Thanks ya guys and ya Sissy the pond will be atleast 4 feet deep if not a bit deeper .. we have enough liner and the room also ..

im gonna try and attach a pic of the fountain .i love it ..it is from 1979 and got it for $40 .. well technically $10 as i sold a fish tank that day for $30 ..lol.. the fountain was about a few hundred when new .. and just the bottom piece alone was heavy that we had to put in a wheel barrow to move it .. it comes in 3 pieces. about 4 feet tall... hubby wants to set it up in the middle of the pond ..

Ok hopefully the pics come through ... :)

nice but remember to put at least 2 layers of liner under it to protect the pond liner from being damaged .That kid really caught a wopper of a fish. That was a great bargain for that price did you get it at a flea market or estate auction.I know my pond is 4 1/2 feet deep but wish i had gone deeper and that may transfer more heat to the pond also ..I know when i tough my concrete bird bath it gets really hot

Same here 41 and cloudy. Did it rain down there during the night and early morning? It sure did here! Well get moving those plants now and hope it stays dry for ya! Neat that you do photography. I just have a little point and shoot Canon but for me it take pretty good pix. Lots better than my old video camera that I had to take the stills off of. Happy digging!
