Hi all

Whilst taking my two girls to the Library recently I happened to stumble across a childrens nature book which mentioned making a small wildlife pond as a project. Basically it involved digging a hole in the ground and placing a plastic container into it, filling it with water and then adding some pond plants to encourage wildlife to it.

I've always been an avid fan of garden ponds and thought it would be a great project for both me and the kids to undertake. They lost interest in the idea pretty quickly but like a big kid I set about making a wildlife pond in my back garden.

Having recently completed it, I've now decided that it needs to be bigger and so now I'm about to embark on my second Wildlife Pond project.

In my quest to get ideas about how I'd like it I discovered this forum and decided to register.

I've attached some photos of my first wildlife pond, as you can see its not very big lol.

Bye for now

Ian
