Hello,
Ive come to this forum for some advice on my pond from people who know what they are talking about.
I built my pond around two years ago, it is not in the best place, but the only place it could go in my garden. It has been fine with a few frog visitors and some residential newts who have had babies, even had a dragonfly lava who shed its skin last summer and flew away so everything seemed to be just right. But a couple of months ago i noticed that the rocks and pond walls were covered in lots of tiny bubbles, i left it and then checked a while after and the bubbles had grown in size to almost covering the rocks. I popped one and lots of air escaped, again I didnt know what it was and left it, now the rocks and pond walls are covered with a slimy brown film and my oxygenating plants and the plants that grow under the waters surface seem to dying.
Does any one know what it is or what i can do to settle things down again?
Please help!
