Hi Everyone!

My name is Mike and I live in San Jose California. I have always wanted
a pond and about a month ago I found myself digging a hole in the corner
of my yard. At first I was just seeing how difficult it would be to dig. Fast forward
a week and I had a hole the size of a small car. I have no experience at all
with garden ponds but after a few trips to the home center and some online
reading I now have a 1200 gallon pond. As far as ponds go it is pretty simple
surrounded with moss rock but I really enjoy working on it. After a lousy day at
work it makes me feel better instantly.

I have had water in it for 3 weeks now and have just added some feeder fish
for mosquito control. Adding plants as I can afford. Looking forward to participating
with the group and learning from all your experience.

Welcome aboard Mike! LOL, you got bit by the pond bug! Your right, they can make a bad day good, but they can make a good day bad too! All in all, once it all settles down and is running smooth it a real place of tranquility. Post pics! We LIKE pics!

Hey I am in Union City. Whats up? I just put my fish in today and it looks so cool. I bought some Fancy gold fish from connies in Castro valley. I am almost finished with it. Ill post some Pictures... Just joined the forum as well.
