My pond is already full of large coi and a few gold fish that I've had for a few years. I was able to keep my fish outside because I enlarged and deepened the pond considerably.
I have several plants in the pond now but I would like to add the cana lilies I kept indoors for the winter. Does anyone have a good method for starting them indoors?

Thank you for the "lots of sun and water' but I need to know if you start the cannas indoors in plastic pots in a 'puddle' of water to get them used to the conditions.
