Hi All

We created a 33 foot diameter pond. 3 Foot deep, rockery etc. It looks fantasic. Over the last two months I have added to it and it is growing well. I have a water fall with a small pump only at this stage. It is nearly done and I will soon be buying a pump and filter then add some goldfish.

Today I looked into the pond and there looks like thousdands and thousands of little black tad poles.
When I bought the plants from the garden centre there was slimey snot on my hand so I presumed it was frog sporn. Am I in trouble with all these? Are all these going to turn into frogs?
What should I do to eliminate these? Empty out the pond? Or speed up the process and get the filer and pump in. Will that filter them out and or do fish feed on these?
Your advice is appreciated as I do not want an infesation of frogs.

Thanks
Sally

Careful, Sally. From what I've heard of Brittain, you probably have LAWS regarding toadicide! :nono:
