Help with plant ID plz!

Hi everyone,

First post on the forum although I've been doing quite a bit of reading about bog filters so thanks to all I learned a lot.

I'm trying to identify the plant in the attached pictures. It looks like some sort of water plantain? I found the rhizomes floating in a swamp area close to the house. I live in Quebec Canada so this plant goes through harsh winters. I planted it in my small bug 2 weeks ago and it has grown quite a bit already.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Looks like my pickerel weed, per plant net there are a lot of options. water arum, calla lily, plantain, arrowhead etc

Water-arum or Water-calla (Calla paustris) is such an intriguing plant. Its distribution is circumboreal, occurring in both northern North America and northern Eurasia. I'd like to try growing that. Maybe I can find a source for it next Spring.
