Hello. Im new here and new to pond keeping. I work in a care home in Devon and we are creating a sensory garden with a fish pond. We have recently been given some very large koi and lots of goldfish, plus some others we cant identify..can anyone advise me if there is any way of getting them identified as to what they are and also what type of koi we have. Some of the info given to us by the benefactor doesn’t seem to tally as to what we have.
hope someone can help!!

How big is your pond? Koi can overwhelm it as they grow and have kids.

Out of curiosity does it matter what they're "called"? Most koi are just that... koi. Only a few specialized colors/patterns exist which make them more sought after and costly. But all in all they're still fish and are fun to have!

Enjoy your new fish!
