hi everyone! so i purchased my first home and it has an empty koi pond in the back yard. i filled it up with water and discovered that it has some leaks. it has some obvious cracks in it also. so i did a little research on my options to repair it. looks like i could scrape off all the old stuff then try to patch some of the cracks and refinish the inside or possibly get a 45 mil liner and just do that. so I'm looking for some advice on how to proceed or what worked for other people. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

with that odd shape you would really have a hard time with a liner so you will have t have it resurfaced .

it is similar to a swimming pool .I would call a swimming pool guy and pick his brain for info and costs .I have seen spray on stuff on youtube in ponds that are concrete and I have seen some kind of homeowner rubber stuff put in one concrete pond on there .They just put 2 coats on .

Hello and welcome! I wish I could help, but I agree with @sissy that putting a liner in there might get complicated due to the odd shape. It’s pretty, though, and I’m sure will look great once it’s up and running.
