Help id this koi

My yellow koi is about 16+ years old now. I believe it's a Male. It has no scales and yellow with red splatter down the whole fish cant find anything like it online. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks!

Nice fish! I can't help you, but you may have to explain what you are asking. Are you asking the gender or the species (type of koi)?

No clue on the koi. I only have goldfish but that is one beauty of a fish!

Not all koi fit into one of the defined types. Some are just koi... but beautiful, like yours!

I've heard your type jokingly called "Specklekoi". I've never seen the color combination of yours though. I think it's great looking.

Good point by GBBUDD! That water clarity is amazing! It looks like you could drink it. I'd like to know more about how you are accomplishing that!
