Hello everyone. I've been a member here for quite a while now, but I've never posted. I figured today was as good a day as any to make my first post.

I live in east Tennessee and I've been a "ponder" for about fifteen years. I built my first pond when I was ten...it was just a hole in the ground with a kiddie pool in it. I soon put a 250 gallon preformed pond in its place. My mother inherited that pond from me when I moved out, and I've since built a couple more.

I recently took my pond apart in anticipation of buying another house. A snapping turtle had set up shop there and killed all but one of my fish. So I set up a 100 gallon stock tank as a temporary deck pond until I get a new house and can build another.

Here is a picture of my current setup. Nothing fancy, but it will get the job done for another couple months.
